Redback Vineyard Weedwipers are purpose-built machines for weed control in Vineyards, orchards & other narrow row applications.

Built on the success of the  Redback Weedwiper, Redback Agri is building inter-row Weedwipers to suit your particular application.

A few things to note about using a Vineyard Weedwiper for weed control in your Vineyard;

A Redback Weedwiper is one of the most environmentally responsible herbicide applicator known today.  You can wipe weeds when you want – not affected by the wind or skill of the operator, you can now target weeds with relative ease.  Meanwhile saving chemical, saving time and mitigating the risk of overspray or spray drift to your valuable crop.  

• Two rows of thick durable wicks make it easy to apply weed killer chemical to weeds
• Hand winder (in front of the tank) makes for quick & easy finer height adjustment
• Bruise bar on the front of the wiper, damages weed to give better chemical penetration
• Strong hot-dipped galvanized box section steel construction is very robust – built to last in demanding applications
• Breakaway wings allow for effective under vine weed control, springing back when making contact with the trunk.  These wings also fold back for, transport/ driving through gateways. (see below pictures)

Very easy to use:

Add your preferred herbicide & water to the tank, (mix rates provided) pump mix into wicks until soaking wet, set the wick height and go. 

Tow behind your vehicle of choice – (ATV’s, side by side’s and Tractors are common) Tow ball hitch makes it versatile. 

Made to suit your row width. We understand that you may have different row widths so we can make your wiping width adjustable so you only need to invest in one Weedwiper.

Three point linkage options are made if required.  

Tank with pump and wiring loom to suit these Weedwipers are available and recommended. 

Weed kill rate with the Redback Weedwiper is consistently between 80-100%  (see below customer feedback)
